The Neunzehnhain reservoirs
The reservoirs of
Neunzehnhain are a hidden jewel. As drinking water reservoirs they
escaped every touristic opening and lie still and clear on the base of
the Adlerstein among broad spruce forests. The water is so clean, that
the sun light comes through to the ground in 30 m depth. |

The Valley and Family route
The tour from Marienberg along the reservoirs of
Neunzehnhain to the railway station Wuenschendorf is suitable also for
unpractised cyclists. From Lauta it runs exclusively on forest roads and
nearly all the way down hill. When you do the tour with little children it´s
recommended to push the bikes through the centre of Marienberg for
approximately 1 km, because there is no separate bike lane.
