The south route branches from the north route between the
Prísecnice reservoir and Malý Haj. It runs directly along the steep south
slope of the Ore Mountains. That’s why there are magnificent views into the
bohemian basin , to the Doupov mountains and to the volcano cones of the
Bohemian Midmountains on the whole course. In Výsluní you come directly by
the „Cathedral of the Ore Mountains“. Between Hora Sv. Šebestiána and
Zákoutí you pass the huge raised moss Novodomské raseliniste, that is an
example of the original nature of the whole ridge of the Ore mountains.
Sheltered species as the Wild rosemary and the carnivorous Round-leaved
sundew live here til today.
Follow the marking 3003 from Prísecnice reservoir to H.
Sv. Sebestiána and further on to Malý Haj the 3081.
