The
Seiffen Nook
The region around the famous Toy Village Seiffen is an
outstanding nice place. The charming mountain landscape is dominated by the
peaks of Schwartenberg and Ahornberg. Below them scattered farmsteads and
pretty villages are dreaming on blooming meadows. The baroque rotund church
in Seiffen and the renaissance castle Purschenstein in Neuhausen are
particular pearls of architecture. Seiffen is the centre of the Ore
mountains folk art. The filigree handicraft is handed over from generation
to generation until today. Just have a look across the shoulder of one of
the master craftmen.

The
Panoramic route
This panoramic route lives up to it´s name. But, to
enjoy the plenty of panoramic views you must pedal quite a lot, 650 m ascent
in total. Who has still more power, shouldn´t miss a side trip to the
Schwartenberg with a gorgeous panoramic view and a nice chalet.
The route isn´t marked, but runs solely on marked
hiking trails and scarcely frequented minor roads.
